Thanks to Citi and the New York Mets for making July 9th New York Cares Night at Shea Stadium.

Citi generously donated 1,000 tickets as a thank you to New York Cares volunteers, who filled the upperdecks with raucous cheer (completely undeterred by the rain!).

Citi also honored some of our volunteers in a special pre-game ceremony on the field – congrats to Trevor Beddoe, David Halloran, Britta Kirschner, Erika Lee, Beth Lehmann, Debra Putzer, and Kelly Sebastian. And NYC Council Member and Finance Chair David Weprin presented New York Cares with a proclamation on behalf of the NYC Council.

It was a big night, and a big honor for the second year running.  Huge thanks again to Citi, the New York Mets, The NYC Council, and all our volunteers for a memorable night!
